L I V I N G D A T A is an ongoing collaborative body of work devised and crafted by Lou Cox for her MRes in Creative Practice at the University of Westminster, resulting in a final exhibition of her work supported by a final reflective essay.
The works have a variety of functions including:
-
Sculptural art works
-
Personalised data visualisations
-
Individual and family portraits
-
COVID-19 recollections via mark-making and audio accounts
-
A non-traditional archival repository that offers a wider context to the pandemic other that just numerical or statistical data
Intending to recount experiences on a human level with consideration to inclusivity for different audience's needs.
A data Jabara, that utilises creative pattern cutting, sewing, illustration and personal data.
